CHANDIGARH, Nov 30: UT Inspector General of Police S.K. Singh today ordered promotions of Head Constable Mohan Lal and Constable Ram Chander to Assistant Sub-Inspector and Head Constable, respectively. They were rewarded for showing quot;efficiency and couragequot; in arresting the murder-accused, Kulbir Singh yesterday. Besides, Police Control Room Head Constables Dhanna Singh and Samunder Singh, Constable Ram Chander and Home Guard jawans Salwinder Singh and Satyavan, who also helped arrest the accused, have been rewarded Rs 2,000 each and also conferred a Class I certificate each.
