The Rock On team left Kolkata wanting more

We were hoping that that a date with the Rock On team at the city nightclub Someplace Else this Sunday, would translate to an impromptu concert. No such luck. What we got instead was an interaction session with the cast of the film, minus the lead man, Farhan Akhtar. The director-turned-actor was unwell and couldn8217;t leave his hotel room. Luke Kenny, Purab Kohli and Arjun Rampal discussed their rock influences. 8220;Some of my favourite bands are U2, Radiohead and Indian Ocean,8221; said Purab Kohli. 8220;I adore Elvis,8221; gushed Arjun Rampal who played the temperamental guitarist Joe Mascarenhas in the film. They also seemed quite excited about the kind of response the film has received. 8220;I hope Rock On manages to stir interest in rock music in this country,8221; said Kohli.
