AHMEDABAD, July 26: The principal of Janta Hindi School was injured after he was attacked by two persons in Meghaninagar late on Sunday night.
According to the police complaint lodged by principal Pravin Mahendrabhai Dixit, his former security man fired at him while his accomplice attacked him with sword. Dixit, in his complaint, said that Brijeshsingh Parasramsingh, a resident of Kalapinagar, and his accomplice Jagdish Suitcasewala attacked him.
Meghaninagar police said the incident occurred at about 11 pm on Sunday when Dixit went to meet one of his friends in Gujarat Housing Board. When Dixit was getting down from his car, Brijeshsingh fired at him. However, Dixit did not get hurt. But he was again assaulted with a sword by Jagdish Suitcasewala. Dixit was admitted to Civil Hospital. Police said that the incident was a result of the old enmity between Birjeshsingh and Dixit. They said Brijeshsingh was running a security company and was providing services at Janta school for about four years. But six months ago, Dixit stopped taking the services of Brijeshsingh.
