After remaining locked for more than two years with no occupant, the traditional room of the power minister at Shram Shakti Bhavan has again been opened. The new occupant of the room is Minister of State for Power Jairam Ramesh. The jinx associated with the room has been a talking point in the Ministry of Power8212;two power ministers passed away while in office and another was unceremoniously shunted out8212;since Ramesh has occupied the room. Jinx or no jinx, Ramesh promises to make some changes to the room, starting with a transparent glass door like the one he had in his office at Udyog Bhavan.
