CHENNAI, JANUARY 21: Tamil Nadu Tennis Association (TNTA) is embarking on an ambitious programme to identify and nurture talent. Called the Tamil Nadu Academy for Tennis Excellence (TATE), the programme will have an expert committee comprising Ramesh Krishnan, Vijay and Anand Amritraj, Nandan Bal and CGK Bhupathi identify 15 talented players. They would be provided tournament exposure and regular training with Indian and foreign coaches. The best five would then be sent to compete in International Tennis Federation (itf) World circuit tournaments.
