KULLU, June 17: Tight security arrangements have been made in the Kullu Valley for the visit of Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee here on June 18.

According to police sources, police forces from Una, Shimla, Dharamsala and Mandi have reached Kullu to control law and order situation during the first visit of Vajpayee here after becoming Prime Minister.

Massive police force has been deployed at different key points in Kullu and Manali towns, roads between Kullu and Manali and the left bank area, where the Prime Minister would stay.

The Public Works Department despite heavy rains, has deployed bulldozers and labourers at the sliding portions on the Kullu-Manali National Highway to keep the road in good condition during the visit. The Prime Minister would address a public meeting at the historic Dussehra Grounds here on June 18.
