BCCI Observer Ravi Sawant, here to oversee arrangements for the third ODI at the Fatorda is unhappy with the standard of the tickets printed for the match.
Goa faced embarrassment over the scalping and forgery of tickets some years back, of which a court case is still on in Goa and a one man committee has passed several strictures.
Sawant, today took first hand report of the arrangements at the stadium then said more attention was needed in the printing of the tickets which he still feels that are not foolproof.
Talking to The Indian Express Sawant said that after that untoward incident utmost care should have been taken over the arrangements of the tickets. 8220;The Goa cricket Association should have resorted to more modern printing. This is the era of sophisticated and mordern printing and this technology is available in India,8221; he said.
8220;They should have gone for holograms or bar coding of each ticket and they could have checked at the entrance,8221; he suggested.
