Three held for carrying weapons

In the second case, Pravin Velji Patel, a resident of Kalidas Society, Kapodara, originally from Bhandaria of Bhavnagar district, was arrested on the road opposite Gupta Fabrics near the Pipodara GIDC. The police seized a country-made revolver from him along with two live cartridges.

Prakash Sanyas Parida was the night8217;s third catch for the LCB 8212; near Karanj GIDC. Hailing from Orissa8217;s Ganjam district, and at present resident of Ghanshyanagar Society in Varachha, Parida had the weapon in his possession when he was nabbed. All the three arrested have been booked under sections of the IPC, BPA And Arms Act. The checking was carried out by LCB PI S A Sardar, PSI8217;s J R Tiwari, B D Barwaliya, S G Yadav and other staff.
