Newcastle will be treating Manchester United like a 8216;8216;wounded animal8217;8217; when the teams meet in Sunday8217;s FA Cup semi-final, says manager Graeme Souness. Having suffered their own disappointment in the UEFA Cup on Thursday, when they were eliminated, Newcastle expect the Old Trafford team to bite back after losing to Norwich last weekend. 8216;8216;They8217;re a wounded animal8217;8217;, Souness told reporters. 8216;8216;They8217;re used to having a winning taste and they8217;ll have had a whole week to prepare for this game, to think about Norwich. If we are to beat Manchester United, a majority of our players are going to have to be at their best. We8217;ll have played twice in a few days and to turn them over we8217;ll have to be at our best8217;8217;, says Souness.

Souness is confident he can raise morale after the disappointing 4-1 UEFA Cup quarter-final defeat in Portugal. 8216;8216;There is nothing we can do about it and we cannot feel sorry for ourselves8217;8217;, he added. 8216;8216;We will take this defeat on the chin and start to prepare now for a very hard game in Cardiff on Sunday.8217;8217; Newcastle captain Alan Shearer is relishing the tie at the Millennium Stadium. 8216;8216;I don8217;t think it gets any bigger or better than that, to be honest8217;8217;, he said.
