Tension in Manmad

Nashik, Aug 16: Tension prevailed today in Manmad town of Nashik district of Maharashtra after recovery of a body of a seven-year-old missing boy, police said.

Schools were closed down and the town is observing a total bandh against alleged kidnapping and killing of Shubham Lodha, son of local trader Sunil Lodha, reported missing from his school since August 12, police said.

Sunil Lodha had lodged a police complaint against his oldservant, Kishor Satpute for allegedly kidnapping Shubham. Some school students also said that they had seen Shubham returning from the school on August 12 on a cycle with a man, police said. Police have beefed up the security and are investigationgthe case.
