Chandigarh, March 23: Three members of the Telecom Department Chandigarh Daily Wage Workers Union began a chain hunger strike outside the office of the Chief General Manager Telecom in Sector 34 here today to demand reinstatement of about 480 workers sacked by the department on March 1. Nirmal Singh, Iqbal Singh and Jarnail Singh will sit on the hunger strike for 24 hours general secretary of the union stated.
