CALCUTTA, MARCH 15: Mohun Bagan missed chances galore to finish 1-1 with JCT Mills, Phagwara, in the `Super Six' second leg match of the National Football League here today. The Calcutta outfit, who had the lion's share of the exchanges in the match at the Salt Lake Stadium, went ahead in the 41st minute through Satyajit Chatterjee, while the promising Surjit Singh drew level for JCT in the 59th minute.Win will put EB ahead: THE points table of the National Football League might well see a few changes tomorrow. Salgaocar, currently at the top with 14 points, play their Goan counterparts Churchill Brothers at the Rabindra Sarobar while East Bengal are expected to put it past FC Kochin at the Salt Lake Stadium. East Bengal are just two points behind Salgaocar, as are Churchill Brothers. Although East Bengal start as favourites, the match between Salgaocar and Churchill should turn out to be anybody's game. Churchill and Salgaocar both have suffered reverses in the final leg of the League so far andboth will be keen to put that behind when they face each other.Salgaocar of course, have Bruno Coutinho continuing to do services as the attacking midfielder. How successful he will be against Churchill defender Hussain Osumanu, remains to be seen. The two other Ghanians in the Churchill side Philip Mensah and Edward Ansah, too would pose problems for Salgaocar.
