Directive to property owners
All property-owners of the city and district, who have either filled in incomplete documents or whose addresses have changed should contact the office of the deputy collector Stamp Duty Evaluation department before June 25, according to an official release issued here on Wednesday. The deputy collector said that documents filed between July 1 1992 and April 1 1993 were being cleared. The department had sent notices to the property owners, but they were returned because the addresses were incomplete or the persons had changed their addresses. All those who have filed documents between the above said dates and have not received notices have been directed to personally contact the office of the registrar at Bahumali.

Houses given
The district administration has allocated 175 houses to manual labourers whose lands have been either taken over by the government for setting up projects or have been displaced due to other reasons. Set up in Mahuva taluka of the district under the Indira Aavaas Yojna, the houses have been built at a cost of Rs 31 lakh. The taluka mamlatdaar said that these houses have been built in the Lasanpore, Algat, Kachhal, Naldhara, Tarkani and Bamania.
