DHARAMSALA, May 11: Himachal Congress Coordination Committee member and PCC joint secretary G.S.Bali today blamed former Communication Minister Sukh Ram of using remote control to run the BJP-HVC government in the state, in order to benefit his own party workers, despite being out of government.
Bali said Sukh Ram was consolidating his party8217;s rank and file with an intention of leaving the Dhumal government in a lurch. He said it was clear from the participation of two BJP ministers Mansa Ram and Prakash Chand, who joined the BJP recently, in the HVC convention.
He said instead of talking of a possible split in the Congress, the BJP should better put its team together. Dhumal as Chief Minister had lost control over party8217;s cabinet colleagues who participated in the HVC convention at Palampur, he added.
Bali alleged that it was evident that Sukh Ram following his resignation as PWD Minister, was trying to keep Dhumal under pressure which was against the interests of the state.
He said Congress would bag all four assembly seats and the Mandi Lok Sabha seat and the state would once again have a stable government with Virbhadra Singh as its chief minister after June 3.
