NEW DELHI, NOV 8: The Government is likely to increase by 6.4% to Rs 56.10 per quintal the statutory minimum prices for purchase of sugarcane. The higher SMP mooted by Agriculture Costs and Prices Commission is to be taken up by the Cabinet tomorrow.
