CHANDIGARH, May 3: Some 300 pupils participated in a rally held to celebrate the International Sun-Day by Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 33-D, in association with Children Alliance for Protection of EnvironmentCAPE this morning.

The day assumes great significance as it highlights the importance of harnessing solar energy. This is required as the natural resources like oil and natural gas are being depleted. The experts explained the importance of surya namaskar to the pupils.
