Queryist : S.M.Shah, Mumbai: A leading player in the information technology industry, Aptech specialises in computer education. It is also involved in information and quality management, software exports, computer sciences, networking, telecommunications and multimedia.

It imparts education through more than 640 centres in India and one each in Malaysia, UAE, Nepal, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and Kenya. During the year that ended in December 1996 , its sales and net profits stood at Rs 163.03 crore and Rs 17.01 crore resulting in an EPS of Rs 30.5. RATIONALE : Aptech was awarded the ISO 9000 certificate for education support services. Aptech has established ties with world giants like Oracle, Sybase, Novell, Motorola etc.

Furthermore, it is affiliated to many reputed institutions in places like US,Canada and UK , which has given the company a competitive edge over the other players in its segment.
