MUMBAI, APRIL 9: The Aban group of companies launched the Maharashtra State Board syllabus on classontheweb.com at a press conference on Thursday. The company claims it to be an exclusive internet portal for children in the age group of ten to eighteen years. This portal, tailored to the Indian syllabi, is also focussed at teachers and parents who will greatly benefit from the animated presentation of complex concepts. The portal covers the maths, physics, chemistry and biology syllabi for Class V to Class XII of ICSE and CBSE, besides the Maharashtra State Board.

The vice president of Aban Informatics Pvt ltd, Sailendra Bhaskar said in the near future subjects, like Geography is very much on the pipeline. He said the information will be updated frequently on the basis of the inhouse expert analysis as well as feedback. The update includes improving animation, changing visuals, adding content. However, it was made clear that the site was to help students clear their fundamentals.

Over 8,000 animations will illustrate the fundamentals for better comprehension of the students, parents and teachers. Specially developed proprietary technology enables creation of large sized animations of very small byte size, which enables delivery of animated educational content over low bandwidth lines.
