
BANGALORE, May 15: Indian speedster Javagal Srinath has left for South Africa to consult a shoulder specialist Dr Mark Pergusson for treatment of his rotary cuff tear in the right shoulder.Srinath, who had to withdraw from the West Indies tour because of the shoulder problem, is visiting Johannesburg for follow up treatment. Dr Fergusson had treated Srinath during the South Africa tour, when he aggravated his shoulder injury. He might not undergo surgery as the training and exercise suggested by the doctor are yielding results. He is now able to move the shoulder horizontally.Srinath, who said he would be fit by the first week of May, is eager to return to the Indian team for the Sri Lanka tour, according to his family sources.
