Special train for pilgrims leaves for Nanded

The Sangat Yatra special train to Nanded, for the 300th year celebrations of the guruship of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, left Chandigarh at 9.05 pm on Thursday.

The Sangat Yatra special train to Nanded, for the 300th year celebrations of the guruship of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, left Chandigarh at 9.05 pm on Thursday.

The train with 15 second-class sleeper coaches, with around 1,300 passengers, is scheduled to reach Nanded at 7.30 am on September 27.

Sarbjit Singh Young Khalsa Sewa Society distributed fruits and organised a special langar for the passengers and their relatives.

Also, Chandigarh-Nanded-Chandigarh AC super fast special trains will leave Chandigarh on Friday and daily from October 1 to November 10 at 9.25 am and reach Nanded at 5.40 pm the next day. For the return journey, the train will depart from Nanded on September 28. From October 3 to November 12, a train will run daily at 7.45 am and reach Chandigarh at 4 pm the next day.
