South Africa continue tour after Karachi blasts

South African cricket team on Friday agreed to continue its on-going tour of Pakistan after being assured of top-level security arrangements following Thursday night8217;s bomb blasts in Karachi.

8220;The team will play remaining four ODI matches as per the schedule but we will assess the situation on day-to-day basis during the tour,8221; said South African team manager Logan Naidoo.

The Graeme Smith-led team is scheduled to play ODI matches at Lahore tomorrow, Faisalabad Oct 23, Multan Oct 26 and Karachi Oct 29.

The South African team management expressed reservations about its security after a suicide bomber blew himself up to target former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto during her homecoming procession.
