Slow sailing

At the last meeting of the Committee on Infrastructure, the shipping sector came in for criticism for its delay in getting key port projects on sail. It8217;s learnt that the usually gentle PM did not hide his displeasure when he said there was no improvement quarter after quarter in this sector. Shipping Ministry officials grumble the delay is due to the Model Concession Agreement not being finalised and because it has differences with the Planning Commission. Still, the point remains8212;there is no marked change in the statistics.
