Six nuns killed in bldg collapse

CHENNAI, DECEMBER 13: Six nuns of a convent were killed and one was injured when the building in which they were sleeping collapsed early on Monday at Seyyur in Tamil Nadu8217;s Kancheepuram district.

Police said here that five bodies had been extricated. Police and fire service personnel were engaged in removing the sixth.

The building, located in the precincts of a Christian missionary school, was said to be very old.

The injured had been hospitalised, police added.
