Sithara Directors abscond

BANGALORE, June 23: The Directors of Sithara Farms and Resorts Ltd. and Carnatic Agro Dairy Farms have reportedly absconded, cheating depositors of large sums of money. The Managing Director, K L Ashok and his associates and relatives, had fled after disposing of the firms8217; moveable and immoveable assets, the marketing manager of the company, Narayana Murthy, said. The company had launched various schemes, including supply of rice at Rs 2 a kg and milk at Rs 2 a litre.
