MUMBAI, OCT 7: A captain's knock of 62 by Prasad Manjrekar, and his 105-run first wicket stand with Om Prakash Jaiswal (42) was instrumental in Siddharth College scoring a crushing 104 runs victory over Jai Hind in the pre-quarter finals of the DSO (city) inter-school Under-19 cricket tournament, for CK Nayadu Trophy, at The Oval today. In reply to Siddharth's 162 for four off the regulated 20 overs, Jai Hind crumbled for 58, Vishal Varma (3-7), Sagar Dimari (2-4) and Sameer Sarve (2-21) doing the damage.In another match, a fine all-round show by Tejas Patani helped Sydenham score a four-wicket win over Elphinstone.
