Eternal loveWe know that Silsila flopped even though the silver screen's most famous love triangle was at its peak. Film audiences, it seemed, could not be bothered to watch real life unfurl on reel life. But that debacle hasn't deterred people from planning yet another movie - casting the Big B opposite Rekha.K C Bokadia apparently has finalised everything but no one is confirming these rumours. Will they? Or, won't they? The entire industry is abuzz with the news of the two ex (?) lovers working together again. Trade magazines have even carried quotes by Bokadia stating that Rekha has approved of the script. And if Amitabh Bachchan's expression when Rekha was dancing to a song from Muqadar Ka Sikander, at a recently-held awards ceremony, is anything to go by, then the Big B, too seems to have given his tacit approval. Love is in the air, it seems.Babe's babyPooja Bedi has sorted out her priorities in life and has never looked back. She is a content wife and a proud mother. Meether any day and you will notice that when she talks others listen because the girl knows what she is talking about. Last time I met her, she told me about her birthing experience - you know she had her baby girl in the States. She says, there were nine people in the labour room - her dad, mom, Nikki, Farhan and some other close friends. When the baby was ready to make its entrance to the world, they all shouted `Pooja push', in unison. And guess what? The baby was out in 10 minutes flat. "The screaming must have really frightened my baby and she came out really soon," says Pooja, in jest.Chop and changeWhat's with today's newcomers? They walk in and out films so fast it seems that they are unable to make up their minds about anything. Rani Mukherjee, who is practically a newcomer, has walked out of two films in a fortnight. First, we heard that she walked out of Mansoor Khan's Josh. Of course no one is confirming this but they say Mansoor and the starlet had problems. She was replaced by PriyaGill for this role, which casts her opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Now it's happened again. This time it's the Amitabh-Nana Patekar starrer Kohram, where she was paired with Mukul Dev. Ayesha Jhulka has stepped into her shoes this time. We don't know why Rani walked out of this film but Ayesha must be really grateful to her these days she is accepting just about any role.Personal choiceTalking of girls who are trying to make it big, Suman Ranganathan's name cannot be overlooked. Only her personal life is so damn confusing. She moved out of ex-boy friend Rahul Roy's house to a flat at Bandra Bandstand which happened to be closer to her new boyfriend Farhan's bungalow. Farhan, for those who don't know, is Honey Irani's son. But things are terribly wrong between the two. For a start they have little in common. Suman's new man - who is actually a kid - is very insecure about her. She, on the other hand, appears far more mature, mentally. But apparently Suman is trying hard to made it work out. Rightnow she wants stability in both her love life and career. What that boils down to is simple - depending on what comes first, Suman may change her priorities overnight.Second chanceIf only Dastak hadn't been Sushmita Sen's debut flick. It's obvious that the actress has potential which wasn't exploited in that movie. If you've been seeing the promos of Zor you will understand my drift. The girl is looking fantastic. Her thin legs aren't showing, the music isn't bad either and people associated with Zor are saying that she can act. What's more, Sunny who is ageing though not as fast as he is balding can do with a touch of glamour in all his films. While the heroine adds beauty to the film, good old Deol is the beast his action scenes remain his forte and those he saves them for himself, as always. So, watch out for this deadly combination.True LiesYou read it somewhere but don't know whether to believe it or not. Bollywood loves to live in controversy and often their real lives seemmodelled on film plots. Here is a collection of some star rumours that have hit the headlines. Read them at your own risk:Sunil Shetty is opening a five-star hotel in Mangalore. This rumour even Shetty doesn't believe. He says at the most he may set-up a restaurant in amchi Mumbai.Madhuri Dixit charged over Rs two crore for Engineer, a trilingual film that has Arvind Swamy and Mads working together, for the first time. Madhuri campers deny this, but others insist that she has hiked her price.Kama Sutra is safe now and will finally be released as they have even changed their publicity strategies to satisfy the Censor Board. Fine, now we have a tamer version of the film and promos. But that's when the real trouble begins. After all the cuts, will anyone want to see the film?Ganesh Naik, who by the way is Mumbai's Forest Minister, has turned producer with Jeeyo Aur Jeene Do. After all, if film stars can make politics an alternate profession - Amitabh, Raj Babbar, Shatrughan Sinha, Rajesh Khanna andnow Vinod Khanna - then our netas can take on tinseltown.
