State net ball team takes fourth place
The Maharashtra netball team bagged fourth place in the National level netball tournaments which took place at Ghaziabad, near Delhi, recently. The team comprised of students of Dr Kalmadi Shamrao School and Abhinav Vidyalaya, and was captained by Shweta Parakh.

Shweta attributes the team8217;s success partly to the fact that, 8220;The Delhi and Uttar Pradesh referees were very fair.8221; The players are now looking dorward to the Internationals that are set to commence in Singapore. The team was in the charge of Mrs Swami.

Army8217;s gymnastic squad announced
Individual all-round champion Rakesh Srivastav of Assam Rifles figures prominently in the 18-man Army gymnastic squad to take part in the Inter-Services gymnastics competition to be held later this year. The team was announced after the conclusion of the Army Gymnastics competition at the ASPT gymnasium, here today.
