A brilliant 62 by Gaurav Sharma and 60 runs by Maninder Singh helped Bristol Club defeat Konark Cricket Club by one wicket in the First Bristol under-16 Cricket Tournament. A fine all-round performance by Hari 60 and 3 for 12 of Konark was of no avail.

Brief Scores: Konark: 160 for 7 in 30 overs Hari 60, Jaydeep 30, Gaurav Sharma 3 for 35, Giri Dhar 3 for 11 Maninder Singh 2 for 10 lost to Bristol 161 for 9 in 28.1 overs Gaurav Sharma 62, Maninder Singh 60 not out, Hari 3 for 12, Navdeep 2 for 21.

Nath shines
Keshav Puram Club beat Uttarakand Club by 33 runs in the President8217;s Estate Challenge Cup League at the President8217;s Body Guard ground. Keshav Puram won the toss and elected to bat first. Shailender Nath scored an unbeaten 34 and took 3 for 12. Kirpal Singh made 72 runs. In reply, Uttrakand made 105 with Ramesh being the top scorer with unbeaten 24.

Brief Scores: Keshav Puram 138 for 4 Kirpal Singh 72 not out, Shailender Nath 34 not out, Ganesh 2 for 11, Satender 2 for 25 beat Uttrakand 105: Ramesh 24 not out, Naresh 21, Shailender Nath 3 for 12.
