Title for Pelicans
Pelicans Club won the first Maharana cricket tournament defeating Delhi Police south-west by seven wickets. Delhi Police scored 193 for nine. Neeraj Sharma 80 was the top scorer. Sudhir Tyagi and Ravi Unniyal claimed three wickets each giving 18 and 33 runs, respectively. In reply, Pelicans easily made 196 for the loss of three wickets. Ashwani Kapoor scored unbeaten 75 while Deepak Anand 46 and Jitender Pandey 34 were the other contributors. Ashwani Kapoor was adjudged man of the tournament. Sudhir Tyagi was declared the man of the match.
