Fine knocks by Gautam Gambhir (41) and Sohail Rauf (32) helped Winsom Club overcome Delhi Blues by five wickets in the A-I division match of the DDCA league at Palam ground.

In other matches, Air Force (Palam) beat United India by nine wickets in A-II division at Palam 2. In the third match of the same division, Tilak Nagar Colts outwitted Central Secretariat by five wickets at Ramjas sports complex; Little Master prevailed over Darya Ganj Gymkhana by 53 runs in division A-II at Yamuna sports complex; in A-I division, Engineers India beat Subhania by 84 runs at Shanti sport complex while in the last match of the day, City Gym triumphed over Ministry of Health by 103 runs in C division at Kotla 2.

DDA suffer defeat
Fine spell of bowling Jagat Gaur (3 for 30) and unbeaten 30 by Shekhar Shank helped DSI outplay DDA by 44 runs in the first East Colts Independence Challenger Trophy at Nand Nagri sports complex.

Vikas Bajaj’s 54 and fine spell by Mukesh Yadav (4 for 35) went in vain for DDA.

Satellite tennis
The All India Tennis Association will hold a $ 25000 ITF men’s satellite circuit consisting of three legs followed by Masters. Each leg will have prize money of $ 6250. The first leg will be held in Bangalore from May 17, second leg at Mumbai from May 24 and the third leg in Delhi from May 31 followed by the Masters in Delhi from June 7.

Anshul hits 123
A stroke-filled 123 by Anshul Kapoor and an equally fine spell by Javed (4 for 32) enabled Lucknow Cricket Association overwhelm Delhi Vidyut Board by one wicket to enter the semi-final of the Jawaharlal Nehru memorial tournament at Ghaziabad.

Anshul Kapoor (123) and Prateek Kapoor (34) were the top scorers for the winners while Neeraj Chawla (50) and Surinder (45) were the principal contributors for the losers.

Ashwani Arora (38) and Ahmed Hussain (25) were the top batsmen for the winners while Devender Bhatia (38) and Prakash Chander (35) scored for the losers.
