Srinath, Fazaluddin fizzle out
Top two seeds Prahlad Srinath and Syed Fazaluddin fermented, as their favoured status was broken down on a lively second day of the ITF Satellite Tennis Circuit first-leg today. While the two Indians were mowed down by Sandeep Kirtane and Niko Karagiannis (Greece) respectively, Rohan Bopanna refused to lie down. The 19-year-old, who hails from the land of Field Marshall KM Cariappa, soldiered bravely from 3-5 down in the second set to win the match in three sets, 5-7, 7-5, 6-4.

Kiwis toppled
