Record entries for vintage car rally
A total of 163 entries have been received for the Castrol-Vintage and Classic Car Club of India annual fiesta. It includes 16 cars of pre-1930 make and 47 entries in the 1930-40 period. The total cars in the Classic section (1941-60) is 51.
There are a record 49 entries in motorbikes, including 12 belonging to pre-1940 category.
The judging will be done on Saturday at Express Towers while the rally will be held on Sunday, starting at Nariman Point and over a distance of 60 kilometres.
Bhogle honour
The International Management Group (IMG) has decided to represent cricket presenter, commentator and columnist Harsha Bhogle, who now becomes IMG’s first non-athlete client in the country.
IMG India will represent all of Harsha’s commercial rights including celebrity/brand endorsements, speaker/lecture opportunities and appearances to select audiences on topics that could vary from management, sports and media, according to a press release.
Bhogle haswritten two books, Joy of a Lifetime and Azhar. He is also a columnist for The Sportstar.
