Terry Crews compares Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom to Tom Cruise and Cristiano Ronaldo: ‘He is a super international star’

America’s Got Talent host and Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor Terry Crews recently expressed a desire to be part of an Indian film and spoke about his admiration for superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Crews described Shah Rukh Khan as a truly global star, comparing his level of stardom to that of Tom Cruise and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In an interview with ETimes, Crews shared that people around the world admire what India has to offer culturally. Describing himself as a big fan of music and dance, he praised Indian cinema for seamlessly incorporating large-scale musical performances, something he noted is largely absent in American films. Crews also went on to laud SRK’s stardom, calling him a “super international” star.

Speaking about Shah Rukh Khan, Terry Crews said he is looking forward to meeting the superstar, describing SRK as a true example of “Tom Cruise–level Indian talent that has taken over the world.” Crews further remarked that Shah Rukh’s name and brand are as vast and influential as those of Tom Cruise and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Terry Crews’ fascination with and admiration for Bollywood is not new. Earlier this month, he also shared a photo with Ranveer Singh, congratulating him on the success of Dhurandhar. He wrote on X, “Me and the great @ranveersingh at @abudhabigp!!!! Congrats on DHURANDHAR.”

On the professional front, Terry Crews will next be seen in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie slated for release in August 2026. As for Shah Rukh Khan, he will next appear in King alongside his daughter Suhana Khan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhishek Bachchan in pivotal roles. Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is also expected to release in 2026.
