Shangra re-elected

CHANDIGARH, Oct 12: Gurdip Singh Sandhu was unanimously elected president of the Amateur Athletic Association, Chandigarh in the general body meeting conducted today by AAAC secretary, Shangra Singh, who himself was unanimously re-elected for another term of four year8217;s.

DS Bedi, principal, Shivalik Public School-41 was nominated as chief patron, according to a press release Flying Sikh8217; Milkha Singh was nominated as patron-in-chief of the AAAC.

The other office bearers of the AAAC are 8212; Devinder Singh Thakur and RC Jeevan senior vice-presidents; Sneh Mahajan, PS Sangha, Neena Puri, Naresh Thakur, Chetan Singh and Arjan Singh vice-presidents; SK Joshi treasurer; Bharat Mitter and Jarnail Singh joint secretaries.

Meanwhile, Milkha Singh, president of AAAC will be holding elections tomorrow at Hari Ram Hostel, DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8.
