Shahi Imam raps Raj Thakre

All India Majlis Ahrar Party on Friday condemned Raj Thakre, President of Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena, for his 8220;dictatorial policies.8221;

Addressing a press conference, Shahi Imam of Punjab Maulana Habib-ur-Rehman said, 8220;Raj Thakre is forcing people of other states to use Marathi language. This way he is trying to weaken the unity of the country.8221;

He alleged that the Maharashtra government was favouring Raj Thakre, because of which goondaism was on the rise in the state.

He said, 8220;Raj Thakre is just raising his voice for Marathi, thus showing great disregard to all those martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country.8221; Shahi Imam demanded that Congress high command should immediately intervene and resolve this sensitive issue.
