PUNE, FEB 10: Chief Minister Narayan Rane today said relations between the Shiv Sena and the Bharatiya Janata Party had improved and there were no differences between the alliance partners on any front.

In his first meeting with the press in the city after he assumed the post, Rane said following talks, both the partners had sorted out their differences, adding they were functioning as “a single party” and were confident of retaining power in the next Assembly elections.

Rane’s confidence was evident in the course of the University of Pune’s golden jubilee celebrations where Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde too voiced the view.

Rane said the completion of nearly 60 development works announced by the government in the last four years will be taken up on priority. “Road development, a tanker-free Maharashtra and the ambitious Krishna Valley Development Project will be accorded preference,” he said.
