MATHURA, JAN 22: A dozen school children aged between five and eight years were injured when a portion of the boundary wall of a local school collapsed, police said.
The mishap occurred when the school children had lined up in the school yard for the morning prayer meeting yesterday.
A part of the compound wall gave way while sand was being unloaded on the other side of the wall from a lorry by labourers, police said.
The labourers themselves rescued the children from under the debris of the collapsed wall.
The injured were admitted to the hospital.
