ROOPNAGAR, Dec 3: In order to facilitate the participation of students and the members of teaching community in the tercentenary celebrations of the Khalsa Panth here next year, the Punjab School Education Board has been asked to reschedule the dates of middle, matric and Plus Two examination.
Disclosing this here today, Deputy Commissioner Kulbir Singh Sidhu said that a recommendation to this effect was made at a high-level meeting of the Board officials with the district auhtorities, held recently.
While the middle class exams have been recommended to be held from February 10 to 18, the Board has been asked to hold the matriculation examination from between February 20 to March 6. For Plus Two exams the period between March 10 and 30 has been recommended.
Apart from DPI schools Vidyawati, others who attended the meeting were controller of examination Jarnail Singh and District Education Officer Malwinder Kaur Chawla.
