
CHANDIGARH, Oct 13: The Indian School Certificate Examination has been granted an equivalence with the Scottish Certificate of Education SCE Higher Grade by the Universities and Colleges Admission Service.
According to a press release issued by the Principal of YPS, S.A.S. Nagar, Air Cmde Retd. S. K. Sharma, information to this effect has been sent by Council for Indian School Certificate Examination ICSE. The ISC Class XII is the only qualification from India to be given this status. As a result of this, students with ISC qualifications are no longer required to supplement their Indian certification with bridging courses. These students would be directly eligible for entry into the United Foreign Universities.
