SC on revaluation

The Supreme Court has held that revaluation of answer scripts is justified irrespective of the fact whether the examination malpractices were of a mass scale or not. 8220;The principles applicable to mass malpractices are equally applicable to such cases where it is found that the variations even in test checks results in considerable change in the marks,8221; the Bench said while allowing an appeal filed by the Karnataka Power Corporation Limited KPCL. Twelve candidates had appeared in the inter-departmental promotion examinations held for the Assistant Accounts Officers of which four were given extra marks.
