Samarth fight back

MUMBAI, November 20: Shree Samarth defeated Father Agnel 33-30 in a Junior girls8217; Bombay YMCA Open Basketball tournament match at YMCA Ghatkopar.The winners were down by 14-18 at the half-time.

Manisha Farab 10 and Mayuri Lele 10 were the main scorers for the winners while Maulisiri Dogra scored 20 points for Father Agnel.

In the other junior girls8217; match, Agrenaya Vyayamshala beat Andheri YMCA 31-6. At half-time, the winners were ahead 20-6. Gita Gole scored eight points and Rucha Marathe scored seven for Agreneya.

In the junior boys8217; matches, Bombay YMCA defeated Andheri YMCA 60-24. Wasim Sheikh 28 and Shailesh Saldanha 10 were the main scorers for the winners while Harpit scored 12 points for the losers.
