The RSP today said it is extremely unhappy with the quality of governance provided by the Manmohan Singh Government and held out the threat of withdrawal from a government it is only supporting from outside. Of course, it moderated the threat with several ifs and buts and also said such action 8216;8216;would depend on a final green signal from the leader of Left parties, the CPIM8217;8217;.

After the party8217;s two-day Central Secretariat meeting, RSP general secretary K. Pankajakshan said they have evaluated the Government8217;s performance in its 100 days in office and felt the 8216;8216;government could not address the concerns of the people effectively8217;8217;.

8216;8216;Frequent hikes in the price of petroleum products and the unchecked inflation has resulted in the heavy increase of price of essential commodities. This in turn has further burdened the common man,8217;8217; the RSP statement said.
