Rompers are the newest thing on the celebrity scene, having been worn by fashionistas such as Nicole Richie, Blake Lively and Rihanna. Back home, Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora have been spotted wearing them. Seven has cute denim rompers in its latest collection, while designers such as Julie Haus and Vena Cava have added a glamorous touch to the rompers by using flowing and silky fabrics.

“A romper has always been seen as a sporty garment. However, now a lot of designers are experimenting and adding a formal, feminine look to it,” says designer Siddharth Tytler. You could wear a denim romper with a basic pair of flip-flops for a day out—a movie or shopping. For the evening, opt for a romper in silk or satin and pair it with high heels.
