CHANDIGARH, Jan 4: Condolence meetings were held today, the concluding day of the Rohtas Memorial Week observed by the Punjab unit of the National Federation for Blind.General Secretary of NFB, Rajesh Mohan said that the focus of the Rohtas Memorial Week this year was to draw attention of the government towards deteriorating condition of the institution run by the private managements for the education of visually handicapped persons.He said that all six institutes for the blind in Punjab had inadequately trained staff and their wages were very low. The students are treated as orphans and the managements were least interested in the development of these institutions, he said.
