
MUMBAI, Sept 30: Responding to a distress call about a robbery attempt at Andheri, police mobile vans gave chase and nabbed the robbers at Andheri on Tuesday.
At around 12.20 pm, the control room received a call that four unidentified men had robbed Juhu Shopping Centre and were escaping in a rickshaw towards Vidhanidhi Gardens. The control room alerted the police mobile vans in the area with the rickshaw number. Mobile van Oshiwara two spotted the rickshaw at Vira Desai Road near Karishma Bakery, and intercepted the rickshaw. The police also arrested two other robbers at Gilbert Lane, Juhu, and recovered Rs 12,450, stolen off an accountant as he was returning to his office.
