RJD man held for attacking MLA

Patna, Dec 7: Rashtriya Janata Dal Jehanabad district general secretary Shivnath Prasad Yadav has been taken into custody by police in connection with alleged attack on former Bihar minister and senior JD MLA Mundrika Singh Yadav, at Jehanabad yesterday.

Police sources said unidentified assailants sprayed bullets on the JD MLA when he was laying foundation stone of a primary school at Golakhpur village under Kanko police station in Jehanabad.

JD leader Mundrika Singh Yadav later lodged an FIR with Kanko police alleging that RJD supporters made an abortive attempt to kill him by firing rounds of bullets on him when he was attending the function.
