Reservations Cancelled

About 20 reservations in tourist buses headed for Jaipur from the capital were cancelled minutes after the serial blasts which rocked the Pink City. Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation, which runs buses to Jaipur every half hour till half past midnight everyday, confirmed that tourists otherwise were largely sticking to their holiday schedules.

However, the Corporation is taking no chances and has heightened security at their offices, both in Pandara Road here and at the state border. 8220;We have posted our own personal security guards at the state border and also employed them at the terminal to check passenger luggage and to security sweep the vehicles. There is no sense of panic although an alert is on after the blasts,8221; clarified an official with the Corporation.
