Anil Ambani-promoted Reliance Energy-led consortium has won the bid to construct the high speed metro rail line between the Capital’s international airport and New Delhi Railway Station, a project estimated to cost Rs 3,800 crore.
“The project is under the public-private partnership programme and we have issued the letter of acceptance to REL-led consortium,” a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation official said.
Spain’s CAF is also a party in the REL-led consortium. He said while DMRC would be responsible for the civil work of the Rs 3,800-crore project, the private partner would be responsible tobuild, run and operate.
