If you love burgers, grilled sandwiches and ice creams, then you can actually have a ball at Snowball’, located on Jungli Maharaj Road. The reason why Snowball is such a welcome break is its pleasant ambience and an exciting menu card, which every youngster would freak out on.

Serving a limited array of grilled sandwiches, burgers and pizzas and a wide range of ice-creams, floats, thick shakes and slushes, Snowball is well air-conditioned with trendy interiors. This is no place to while away your time, for chairs are very few. You can rest your elbow against window sill-like projections and have your tasty bite, standing. Or else you can have a seat outside the AC premises, where a couple of tables have been arranged.

For as little as ten rupees, you could have a slush. The orange slush is highly recommended or then you can have a taste of lemon, mango, pineapple, jeera, cola and strawberry. Otherwise, choose the slush floats which have a generous dash of vanilla ice-cream. Costing Rs.15 each, the flavours are the same as the slushes.

The thick shakes seem to have hit the popularity chart here. At Rs.25, you can try their vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch, black currant, raspberry, pineapple, mango, leechi, anjir, thandai and mint. If you want a dash of ice-cream here, then you will have to shell out an extra fiver. You can have ice-creams in these flavours too.

It is the Snowball Sundaes which have also become mega-hits. We tried their Black Forest Fantasy for Rs.35 which was delightful with chocolate and vanilla ice-cream, chocolate chips and black forest cake. Other suggested ones are Choco Crunch for Rs.30, Strawberry Kisses for Rs.30, Leechi Love for Rs.35, Black Vanilla for Rs.30 amongst others. Samples of these sundaes are displayed in a see-through refrigerator.

Then of course, you can indulge into their various ice-cream scoops like coconut, vanilla choco chips, chickoo and mango – all of these for Rs.20 each. Snowball’s ultimate treat is the Volcano’ at Rs.50 and Choco chip dip’ at Rs.30.

Although the snacks might be limited here, they are highly recommended. Try their Veg grilled sandwich’ at Rs.25, Cheese grilled sandwich at Rs.30, Vegetable Burger at Rs.20, cheese Burger at Rs.25 and Vegetable and Cheese Pizza, both for Rs.50. We tried their Veg Grilled Sandwich’ which was extremely delicious. And so was the vegetable burger.
