CHANDIGARH, Feb 12: The Reserve Bank of India will be issuing currency notes of Rs 20 denomination bearing the signatures of RBI Governor, Dr Bimal Jalan.

RBI Manager, S.R. Singh said that the new notes will also bear quot;Cquot; inset in both numbering panels. Except for these changes, Rs 20 notes being issued now are similar in design to those issued earlier. All Rs 20 notes issued by the bank in the past will continue to be legal tender.
